Our website www.santorini-car-rental.info strictly applies the principles of personal data protection, provided by the International and European law that regulates issues related to electronic commerce (Directive 2000/31/EC, PD 131/2003 ) as well as by the Law on Consumer Protection (Law 2251/1994) which regulates issues related to distance sales and the relevant provisions of the Greek Law (Law 2472/1997) on the protection of individuals and data protection of a personal nature as supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Personal Data Protection Committee, the P.D. 207/1998, 79/2000, article 8 of Law 2819/2000 and European law with directives 95/46/EC and 97/66/EC, expressly declares that it will not proceed with any unlawful use of your personal data and in no way disclose, publicize, sell, rent or trade your personal information and the information you submit to any third party. Upon your request, your personal information is permanently deleted and is not provided in any way to anyone. By submitting material to our server, you agree that the material does not contain material that is untrue, illegal or in any way inappropriate for use and publication.

What data is collected in the online store?

When placing an order, identification data and contact data such as the following will be requested:

• Contact telephone number (mobile and/or landline)

• Electronic e-mail address (optional for visiting customers / mandatory for customers with an account in the online store)

The company processes customer data in accordance with the application of article 7A par. 1 (b) Law 2472/1997, in order to implement the order given by each customer and in no way will they be disclosed, made public or sold to third parties, unless the procedure defined by the legislation for the lifting of confidentiality (Law 2225/1994) or any obligations deriving from the national implementation of Directive 24/2006 is initiated.

RECEIVERS OF PERSONAL DATA

A) The authorized employees of Kronos Car Rental who are responsible for the execution & invoicing of the customer's order as well as for the fulfillment of all kinds of obligations arising from the contract between the customer and Kronos Car Rental.

B) Kronos Car Rental cooperates with payment service providers (for example banks, money transfer services such as Paypal) necessary to carry out the business activity and/or secure the data and/or serve Kronos Car Rental users.

Electronic payment service providers have access to the personal data of the customer's order, as long as it is necessary for the operation of their services.

The providers are obliged to use the personal data in accordance with this personal data protection statement as well as the personal data protection laws of the Greek legislation.

The details of the credit cards used by the customers are NOT STORED on the online platform of the online store,

Kronos Car Rental uses the customer's information submitted during the online order in order for its staff to contact the customer regarding:

• The delivery of the car

• To confirm and identify the customer

• To edit/delete the online order due to unavailability

• For information about new products or services

• For information about special offers

You have the option to choose whether or not you want to receive such communications from Kronos Car Rental by sending your request via e-mail to the e-mail address.

The provision of personal data on behalf of the customer means that he consents to this data being used by Kronos Car Rental staff for the reasons mentioned above.

Kronos Car Rental requires its employees and website technical staff to provide its user-clients with the level of security stated in this Privacy Statement.

In no other case can Kronos Car Rental share your personal information with others without the customer's prior consent, unless this is required through legal means.

The COMPANY maintains the data of the electronic orders for tax purposes in accordance with the applicable tax law. Customer details are registered in the information system in accordance with current legislation including the provisions regarding data security and confidentiality and the principle of lawful processing.

The data kept in the file may be communicated to the competent judicial, police and other administrative authorities upon their legal request and in accordance with the applicable legislative provisions.

The customer has, within the framework of telecommunications privacy legislation, the rights of information and objection provided for in articles 11 to 13 of Law 2472/1997

You hereby give your express consent to the collection and processing of your above personal data, without which we cannot offer you our services, while you can revoke or modify it at any time (article 2 par. a of Law 2472/1997 and Article 7 of Regulation 679/2016). We reserve the right to change the terms of protection of personal data without notice, in accordance with the current regulatory framework.

Kronos Car Rental keeps the personal data as long as the Customer is active, and in case of inactivity and non-transaction with our store, they are kept for a period of five (5) years, and the liquidation will take place every January, regardless of the date collection of the customer's personal data.

Kronos Car Rental will not disclose a Customer's email address or other personal data for advertising or other promotional and/or communication purposes, except after their express consent in accordance with the conditions set by the GDPR.

We inform you that in order to collect and analyze with objective criteria your opinion, in order to offer you better services and personalized communications/suggestions about products that suit you, we work with

• Google for personalized and repetitive marketing (remarketing)

• Facebook for personalized and repetitive marketing (remarketing)

Kronos Car Rental declares that during the period of keeping said information/personal data and our electronic communication, it uses them lawfully, taking the necessary security measures and respecting their confidentiality. In particular, we take all appropriate and appropriate organizational and technical measures for the security of data and their protection against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, prohibited dissemination or access and any other form of unlawful processing, such as e.g. gradation of access to personal data, security of the places where a physical file of personal data is kept, destruction of all documents containing personal data, so that it is not possible to extract any information, while the network is protected by Firewall and NAT, data encryption, while there is also controlled access of each user with a different Username – Password and LetsEncrypt SSL/TLS certificate.

However, Kronos Car Rental does not guarantee the security of data transmitted through networks to the extent that their protection is not achieved by taking appropriate security measures imposed by law and is not responsible for any direct, indirect, positive, collateral, material or non, damage that the user may have suffered from his access to the internet.

Whenever you choose, either through the online ordering process or through the phone ordering process, to provide us with your email address and/or mobile phone number, or any other personal data, you are simultaneously choosing to grant and respect the personal your data from us. We would like you to know that Kronos Car Rental will never use your personal data for purposes other than those mentioned in this text. Your personal data is absolutely sacred to Kronos Car Rental and we want it to work exclusively for your benefit and with respect for your individuality and your freedom of choice.

Each user has the right to submit a request for access, correction or deletion of personal data or to limit the processing concerning the data subject as well as the right to object to the processing and to complain to a supervisory authority (in accordance with the definitions of articles 13 to 20 of Regulation 679/2016 GDPR).

Each user can additionally request the portability (according to the possibility given to you by Regulation 2016/679 GDPR) of their personal data. For any exercise of your rights, you can contact the person in charge of processing, defined below.

Each user also has the right to withdraw their consent at any time by sending an email to the Personal Data Processor (Article 2 para. k of Law 2472/1997 and Article 7 of Regulation 679/2016 GDPR).
